Artist Statement

Figures of women, active and uninhibited, domestic settings made up of superfluous flooring, chairs and designer objects that fill interiors. Walls of houses containing the signs of everydayness. Tables covered with lace doilies and red shoes forgotten in a corner. Women resting upon the backs of horses as if to tame them. People in search of a better place. Mother and daughter performing together in an art space. Architectural projects and city maps joined with pornography, creating new maps and a new work - Urban Pornitecture. These are some of the things that appear in my works.

I am struggling now to translate aspects of daily life into my work, and am exploring the spaces and language of women, as well as stories of travelling - as opposed to emigration; then there's sex and pornography, and architecture and urban developments, seen from a global angle, but represented in a very individual way.
